The Brigade is the largest of the rebuilt buildings which make up Fort Vickery. Orginally, in the days of The Widithey Empire, the building was a combination mill and smithy powered by horizontal waterwheels set below the bridge across the Feymist river.
The Brigade houses Brigadier Hawthorn's command center and houses two of the Kedran platoons. There is also a small communications tower buil on the roof for maintaining contact with watchposts stationed in either direction along the river.
There is also a small contingent of dwarf and gnome craftsmen working on repairing the works.
On the outside, the building is a 5-story structure with a large staircase leading to the second floor. In actuality all of the first floor, as well as the basement, are taken up by the mill and smithy. In addition, the western half of the second and third floors are divided up into 8 storage columns.
